Nissan Debuts New 2008 Teana & Teana XV At Beijing Car Show Nissan and its Chinese partner Dongfeng unveiled the final production version of new redesigned Teana & Teana XV at the 2008 Auto China show in Beijing. This is the first new version of the Teana since its debut five years ago and is heavily influenced by the Intima concept seen last year at the Tokyo Motor Show. Brilliance BS4 Station Wagon Debut at 2008 Auto China

Brilliance BS4 Station Wagon Debut at 2008 Auto China China car manufacturer Brilliance unveiled its BS4 Station Wagon model earlier this week at 08 Beijing Auto Show in China. For those who might not be familiar, Brilliance is BMW’s Chinese partner. Last year it launched the sedan version of BS4 in the home market. The BS4 Wagon continues with the original front end design of the BS4 sedan, but the rear end has been transformed from sedan into wagon quite tastefully. Looking at the front grill of the wagon, you will realise how similar it is to BMW's trademark face grill.

The BS4 wagon is packed with a 1.8L Mitsubishi G93 4 cylinder producing a 134 hp at 6500 rpm. Both BS4 Sedan & Wagon have been designed and engineered by the famous Italian house, Pininfarina. So for most people interiors and exteriors of the car should be ok but same can't be said about its performance.

The Brilliance is aiming to get a decent foothold for BS4 in the European, and Chinese markets. For Europe the sale of both Brilliance BS4 wagon and sedan is expected to start by the end of this year.

HongQi's SUV Concept Debut At 2008 Beijing Auto Show

HongQi's SUV Concept Debut At 2008 Beijing Auto ShowHongQi (FAW's premium car division) debuted it's new Concept V12 SUV yesterday at the 08 Beijing Autoshow in China. Earlier renderings showed a car that looked more than a bit like the Lincoln MKR concept but in real thing is nothing like it. HongQi's new SUV comes with a unique design tailored specifically for Chinese SUV lovers, leather wrapped seats and blue theme lights to lit up the interior.

The center stack is almost completely made of LCD touch panel, a feature that would be too futuristic in a production model. One noticable feature on the exterior of HongQi SUV is a roof mounted rearview camera that sends pictures of the view onto a video screen for the driver in lieu of a traditional mirror. All in all it is a huge machine from every side. You can't call it beautiful but definately a car you will like to stand next to. When launched, HongQi's V12 luxury SUV will have the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and Benz GLK as its rivals.

Next Gen 2009 Ford Fiesta Debut At Auto China Show

Next Gen Ford Fiesta Debut At 2008 Auto China
2009 Ford Fiesta S Model
Photo Gallery
Today at 08 Beijing Motor Show, Ford revealed its all-new next generation global small car the Ford Fiesta five-door hatch. Designed and developed in Europe for sale in Europe, Asia, South Africa, Australia and the Americas between 2008 and 2010, the all-new Fiesta is the first major product of Ford’s new global product development process.

The all-new Ford Fiesta is closely related to the exciting trio of Verve Concepts that were revealed globally at 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show as a three-door hatch, at 2007 Guangzhou Motor Show in China as a four-door notchback, and at 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit as another iteration of a four-door notchback.

China production of the all-new Ford Fiesta commences before end of 2008 at the Changan Ford Mazda Automobile (CFMA) plant in Nanjing, China. By 2010, Ford's Fiesta small-car family will be manufactured in Europe, Asia and the Americas and be marketed as Fiesta in all of the world’s key automotive markets.

The all-new Fiesta retains the MacPherson strut front suspension and twist-beam rear suspension layout, but the new suspension and steering system has undergone an array of enhancements.

Electric-Power Assist Steering (E-PAS) is introduced in the Fiesta for the first time. E-PAS only operates when steering-effort assistance is required, unlike traditional hydraulic PAS pumps that operate constantly when the engine is running. This brings a fuel consumption reduction.

New production colors include the Beijing reveal colour of Passion Orange and the bright Lightning Yellow.

Full technical details of the new Fiesta will be released closer to the formal launching of the production model before the end of 2008.
